What is Voodoo Walrus?

Voodoo Walrus is a writer (CreepKnight), an artist (Grymm) and various important allies of theirs (Marron) working hard to create comics and a venue in which you all can see said comics easily, often, and all for free (because we love you). We all actually do far more than what is seen here currently. But new stuff will be worked into the site as its ready. In the meantime, the Voodoo Walrus Webcomic is the mainstay feature of the site.

What is this Voodoo Walrus Webcomic you speak of?

Why its the gem of the site currently! Updated every Tuesday and Friday, Voodoo Walrus (VW) usually follows the mostly auto-biographical exploits, blasphemies, shenanigans, and oblivious acts of chaos that occur in the wakes of Grymm and CreepKnight as they attempt create comics, associate with impossible things, thwart crazed fans and antagonists, and figure out how to keep their floating, talking, pet pygmy cow from destroying all that is good in their lives.

We’d like to think that we’re the other, other white meat of webcomics. We don’t really fit amongst the gaming comics or the slice of life comics. We’re not high fantasy, manga, copy/pasted panels, sprites, or math/science jokes. We just roll with what existence throws at us. Then we melt it down, pour it into our Hot Tub of Creativity and wallow in our own awesomeness.

I Don’t Get It.

Too bad? Not everyone’s going to “get it”. If you’re sitting there trying to figure it out, chances are you might have already missed the punchline. Its a shame sure. But we’re not really looking to please everyone. Just ourselves. Anything beyond that is extra large gobs of cookie dough in our ice cream. Unexpected, but much appreciated.

Why? Just…. Why?

In general? Because we’re full of ideas. And we want to share those ideas with you and entertain you and maybe make you feel a little amused/horrified/dirty/aroused/confused/stimulated and/or loved. We’re artists. We’re entertainers. We only want to make the world a more interesting place and the comic format is our format of choice to go about doing this. Embrace the Walrus. Come with us. Ride with us. We promise to show you a great many things and you’re rarely if ever be bored.
